How to change Email password from cPanel

To change an email password from cPanel, follow these steps:
Method 1: Using cPanel Email Accounts
- Login to cPanel
- Go to:
yourdomain.com/cpanel
- Enter your cPanel username and password
- Go to:
- Navigate to Email Accounts
- Locate the “Email Accounts” option in the Email section
- Find the Email Account
- Scroll down to the list of existing email accounts
- Click “Manage” next to the email account you want to update
- Change Password
- Under Security, enter the new password
- You can use “Generate” to create a strong password
- Save Changes
- Click “Update Email Settings”
Method 2: Using Webmail (Roundcube)
If you have access to Webmail, you can change the password without logging into cPanel:
- Go to
yourdomain.com/webmail
- Log in with your email credentials
- Click your email address at the top right
- Select “Password & Security”
- Enter a new password and save changes
After updating the password, ensure that you update it in your email clients (Outlook, Thunderbird, phone, etc.) to continue receiving emails.
